With an undergraduate degree in screenwriting and a master’s degree from the London Film School, Randy has worked with children’s media companies around the world—in both English and Spanish—to develop their concepts and create original show bibles and pilot scripts. Writing for preschoolers and older demographics in both animation and live action, he has recently branched out into interactive media by creating the text-based video game “Hey, That’s My Bone!” for Kinzoo Technologies—about a dog pursuing his stolen bone through time and space—which has been played by over 7,000 users, and writing dialogue, scripts, and other material for Miko, a toy robot from Mumbai that uses AI to play with kids aged from preschool through tweens.
He’s also served in the leadership of the Children’s Media Association since July 2020, first helping to create their global mentorship program, in which he also participated, and from January 2021 to April 2023 as the Director of Membership for the New York chapter, overseeing benefits for CMA members throughout the pandemic and beyond.
Samples of original work, including bibles/pilots, “Hey, That’s My Bone!,” and picture book manuscripts, are available on request. Sample scripts of existing shows include:
